About Jasmine Bar
History
The Jasmine Bar was established in 2005. 8th of February we had the opening party with good friends and free food. The party went well and ended with fighting, as usual, among Norwegian. Some broken teeth, some broken glass and a lot of broken pride as a result. Afterwards the new logo was created with the Soi Rabalder hanging on to the logo. Soi Rabalder is Norwegian language and can be translated to something like Coronation Street. Anything can and will happen. At that time the bar was outside with a hole in the wall to serve from. No food, only booze and draft beer.

The Soi Rabalder
After a while we decided to put some
furniture inside and also put up an aircon. That vent along
quite well to our customers satisfaction. Another year vent by
and we put up a roof around the outside areas. Rooms were rented
across the road and more staff arrived. One year later
we ordered a pool table. Great susses. The business was
blooming. Early 2009 we decided to do a face lift. A lot
of work and some money was put in to renew the facility. The
interior got a face lift as well. Note the steel poles.
Then hell froze over, new neighbours
moved in. Some Thai couples who obviously did not appreciated
the appearance of foreigners in their land of smiles. The
Jasmine Bar was told by the police to move. At the same time the
community decided to dig up the whole town over a 3 year period.
The choice was easy.....
So we moved and ended up at Sukhoumvit road, 3 kilometres outside Bangsaray. Now we have 450 square meters for our playground. Our customers are happy; they get everything they need in-house. We all aim for excellent food, friendly staff and excellent service. Even live music, sometimes. Good parking for cars as well as motorbikes.
